Cambridge Keyboard Festival 2016

The Cambridge Keyboard Festival took place on 19-20 March 2016 in Jesus College Chapel and the Lee Hall, Wolfson College, and included a dozen recitals, each featuring different keyboard instruments and their repertoire from the past five centuries: organ, piano, harpsichord, virginals, spinet, clavichord, harmonium and accordion. Music showcased this year includes works by Bach and his sons.

The professional performers included Patrick Hemerle (piano), Julien Cohen (piano), Stephen Rose (organ), Bertie Baigent (organ), Dan Tidhar (harpsichord), David Chung (harpsichord), John McKean (harpsichord/virginals/spinet), Francis Knights (harpsichord/clavichord), Will Warns (harmonium) and Iosif Purits (accordion).

The Festival was kindly supported by Wolfson College Music Society and Jesus College Music Society. Admission was free, with retiring collections.
